Shades of Grey
With spring rolling around, we're ready to get serious about painting this house! Finally! The burning question is: What color?
It sits in a prominent place in the city and the yellow is kind of iconic at this point. White has also been kicked around. But we're finding that many Greek Revivals were traditionally painted grey to mimic the stone of the Greek temples. Here are a few examples we love.
And here's a grey-scale pic of our house, just to get an idea. At present it is yellow with green shutters.
