Backyard Plants
The garden is doing well in all this heat and rain. Flowers everywhere too! The yards still need landscaping work, but at least they're spacious and leafy green.

Birthday/Housewarming
We had a small gathering for the family here at the house as a sort of housewarming/birthday party.
The dining room:

| The beautiful art deco furniture is part of a 3-piece dining set. It has been in the family since the 1930s and goes perfectly in the dining room. |

| The floor was finished just in time! |
The kitchen:

| Almost done with the kitchen. All appliances are in and most cabinet doors are back on. |

| Just needs some cabinet handles and the back splash tiling finished. |

My Big Backyard
Now that the weather has warmed up and the backyard has started greening up we're finding plants and flowers everywhere! Honeysuckle and ivy are trying to take over but it's really a lovely, big, shady yard that has loads of potential.
