Entablature Started

We put up the back and bottom portion of the new entablature above the front door over the weekend. It will sit out on the columns on either side of the door and cover the big hole that is there now. Trying to get the rest of it up by the end of the week! Should make a huge difference in the front of the house and be close to what was original.

1st Christmas

The Christmas tree...all 10' of it. And the cats only knocked it over once.

Drawer Pulls

Getting some hardware on these cabinets! Or the drawer pulls anyway. Still deciding on the doors. Really breaks up the expanse of white in there.

Kitchen Tiles

It's been a long process, getting this kitchen redone, but we're putting the finishing touches on now. The grouting is up on the wall tile and it looks so much better.

Living Room is Done!

A few weeks ago we were finally able to finish up the living room. The floor is totally refinished, the baseboards are refinished, the walls are painted (White Wool by Behr) and the book shelves and window and door frames are refinished. Much better! Time to start decorating...

Primer Everywhere

A fresh coat of nice white primer is now on the door frame (minus the top portion that's awaiting rebuilding) and the first floor windows!
